The Red Collection, released by The Macallan, offers an impressive range of vintages ranging from 40 to 78 years old, bottled in 2020. Undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated collections in the brand's history.

The Red Collection from Macallan is a collection of exceptionally rare and distinguished single malt Scotch whiskies. These whiskies were influenced by the vision of our founder Alexander Reid and the contributions of key figures in our history, who have greatly shaped our single malt as it exists today. This collection commemorates the diverse range of red hues that occur naturally throughout our production process.

The 50-year-old whiskey showcases The Macallan's unparalleled dedication to skillfully combining wood and spirit. Presented by Macallan's Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell, it was aged for several decades in exclusively hand-selected oak casks. Flavour notes describe its hue as "Vintage Oak."

Its oak presentation box is crafted by hand in the UK, using the same sustainable European oak used to make The Macallan casks. The box is upholstered with sustainably sourced, soft Scottish leather from Bridge of Weir Leather.
