'The Turbo' is created from the highest phenol content of our distillate, known as 'the heart of the heart.' This amplifies its smoky identity through the use of mainland peat and a lengthy fermentation period, resulting in a full-bodied and multifaceted whisky. The 2025 Release is a blend of five American virgin oak casks and four Oloroso hogsheads, boasting a powerful punch of peat with a remarkable 72 PPM.
Nose: Manuka honey, toasted caramel and smoked cedarwood, with butterscotch, treacle tart and spiced orange peel.
Taste: Heather honey, roasted hazelnuts and baking spices, followed by crystalised ginger, mocha and molasses, with smouldering oak, dark chocolate and warmed plum jam on finish.
