Twisted Oak 8 Year Old | Spiritfilled | NEOC Rebuilt Cask | 46% | 70cl
A world first, poured into every glass. Twisted Oak is the first blended malt Scotch whisky ever finished in a fully NEOC-rebuilt cask — developed for Spiritfilled by Alexandre Sakon. Same oak, new story. Eight years old, bottled at 46%, and made entirely from malt whisky drawn from several distilleries, it is a rounded, fruit-led dram with a little oak spice and a finish that sets it apart from the crowd.

The NEOC Cask
The NEOC process is a different approach to cask maturation. Rather than simply refilling or finishing in an existing cask, the cask is taken apart, the staves are shaved back by a few millimetres to reach live, seasoned oak, re-toasted over open flame, and then rebuilt by hand before being filled. The result is a longer, drier clove-and-oak finish than you would expect from a standard refill cask.
Perfect For
- Anyone who enjoys rounded, fruit-led whiskies with a little oak spice
- Whisky drinkers curious about innovation in cask technology
- Sipping neat, with a drop of water, or over ice
- An interesting, accessible gift for a whisky-loving friend
