Teaninich 23 year old Rare Malts Selection Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at natural cask strength. This discontinued Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky was distilled in 1973 and, aged 23 years for Diagio's Rare Malt Selection. It was bottled in April 1997.
The Rare Malts Selection was created in 1995 aimed initially at the duty free market. However the range became available to specialist whisky retailers.
Location; Highlands region, Northern district. In the small village of Alness, a 30-minute drive, north of Inverness.
