Macallan Speymalt 2005 70cl (Gordon & Macphail)

This special edition of Macallan Speymalt, produced in 2005 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, is a prime example of the distillery's renowned range. At 43% ABV and aged for approximately 14 years, this expression offers a traditional flavor that is characteristic of Macallan whiskies. Established in 1824 the distillery overlooks some of the finest fishing beats on the River Spey.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Delicate Sherry influences with sweet Highland toffee and banana aromas. Hints of lemon and peppermint linger.

Palate; Initially peppery with pear, pineapple and orange peel flavours. Complimented by a creamy milk chocolate and Brazil nut edge.
