Named after a lost Campbeltown distillery, Longrow is Springbank Distillery's heavily peated, double distilled expression — the peated counterpart to the lightly peated Springbank. Malted for 48 hours over peat fires (~50 PPM), matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and bottled at 46% ABV. A deeply maritime, oily, and beautifully balanced peated Scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Very creamy vanilla custard with smoke developing gradually. Toasted marshmallows, herbs, rich fruits. A maritime element — salt and leathery smokiness like a Harbourmaster's jacket
  • Palate: Incredibly well balanced — rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. Smoke washes over the palate in waves, with light green grapes and rhubarb providing a great contrast
  • Finish: The gentle smoke lingers and lingers, with salty smokiness returning for a deeply satisfying ending
