Released in 2001, this highly coveted whisky is a precursor to the popular Macallan Fine & Rare series, which debuted the following year and drew inspiration from the aesthetics utilized in this bottling.
Distilled in December 1951, this was bottled from two sherry butts selected for their exceptional quality, #1541 and #1542.
