About Daftmill Distillery
Daftmill is unlike almost any other distillery in Scotland. Founded in 2005 by brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert on their family farm in the Kingdom of Fife, it operates as a genuinely seasonal distillery — distilling only during two short windows each year when farm work allows. Every bottle of Daftmill carries barley grown in fields visible from the still house, distilled and matured entirely on the estate, and signed by the brothers themselves. The result is a whisky of remarkable purity, restraint, and elegance that reflects its Lowland origins and its farming philosophy in every sip.
