A Japanese single malt whisky from the Chichibu distillery opened by Ichiro Akuto back in 2008. This On The Way expression was bottled in 2019. The whisky itself is a vatting of various ages, featuring whiskies that have been matured in bourbon casks and finished in Mizunara oak casks, before being bottled at 51.5% with an outturn of 11000 bottles, each being individually numbered.
