A 1988 vintage Bowmore from the Timeless Series, released in 2023. After 33 years of maturation, beginning in ex-bourbon barrels and finishing in Matusalem sherry-seasoned butts and second-fill European oak Oloroso casks, it is expressively floral and herbal: a rousing chorus of menthol and eucalyptus, then ripe orchard fruits with peat smoke. Bowmore describes the Timeless Series as a reminder of the irreducible value of time itself. Presented in an hourglass-shaped display case.
