The Balvenie Classic, part of the Stories range, commemorates David C. Stewart MBE for his innovative use of wood finishes in whisky. In 1983, he introduced this expression, aged in oloroso sherry casks. It is a tribute to the essentials of Balvenie, with fragrances of vibrant vanilla, dried cloves, and barley malt, followed by a palate filled with sweet oatmeal, brittle toffee, and dry oak.
