A rare 1980s Italian market bottling of Aberlour 12 Year Old Pure Malt — imported and distributed in Italy by Rinaldi, one of Italy's most prominent whisky import houses of the era. Presented in the distinctive square bottle unique to Aberlour in this period. Labelled "Pure Malt" — the pre-1990s designation for what is now called single malt. Rinaldi-imported bottles of this era carry considerable collector value, having distributed exceptional expressions of Macallan, Glenfarclas, and Aberlour to the Italian market when these whiskies were largely unknown outside Scotland.
