A deeply peated, maritime Island single malt from an unnamed Orkney distillery — distilled in February 2010, matured in a refill hogshead then re-racked into a combination of American and European oak oloroso quarter casks, and bottled in July 2026 at a compelling 59.6% cask strength by Edinburgh's Woodrow's. Just 280 bottles from cask ref 95A&B/2010. Non-chill filtered, natural colour.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Bright orange zest, toffee, raspberry, and dried apricots, with gentle bonfire smoke, heather, and dried fig drifting beneath
  • Palate: Rich and oily — prunes, dates, lemon zest, walnuts, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, leather, and allspice, with a distinctive maritime saltiness running throughout
  • Finish: Long and warming — the smoke returns, with lasting dried fruit, coffee, bitter chocolate, sea air, leather, and allspice
