A 38 year old Tormore from The Long Game, Rare Find's October 2026 collection of three exceptionally old single casks spanning 34 to 38 years of maturation. Distilled in 1988 and finished for 27 months in a first-fill Oloroso sherry barrique, cask 26087, it is where the depth of the spirit meets the richness of the cask. Bottled at natural cask strength, natural colour and non-chill filtered, individually numbered from an outturn of 198 bottles.

Tasting Notes
- Nose: Rich and beautifully composed, with golden syrup, rich toffee and warm custard alongside crisp apple peel. Beneath the sweetness lies a gentle earthiness, with soft marshmallow adding a confectionery lift
- Palate: Bright, polished oak brings structure to crème caramel, alfalfa honey and nostalgic wine gums. A layer of dry, dusty spice develops with time, adding complexity and balance
- Finish: Elegant and lingering. Grassy fruits and honeyed notes fade into a delicate impression of fine mead
About Tormore
Tormore began production in 1959 as the first new Speyside distillery of the 20th century, in a Category B-listed complex designed by Sir Albert Richardson. Its fruity, elegant spirit was historically destined for blends, and Elixir Distillers, who acquired the distillery in 2022, have since reintroduced its single malt. Rare Find believe Tormore deserves the spotlight as a single malt, and its character remains clearly recognisable even after 38 years.
