The Macallan Rare Cask 2026 Release, presented in the limited edition Easter Elchies sleeve sold exclusively at The Macallan Estate. From the rarest casks, where time and sherry-seasoned European oak quietly shape character, comes a single malt of deep, natural beauty: an intense raisin sweetness, rich, elusive and patiently discovered, layered with depth, warmth and a velvety finish that lingers long beyond the final sip. The dark, luminous ruby mahogany colour is entirely natural.
Each annual Rare Cask batch is created from a small fraction of the thousands of casks reviewed each year at the Estate, identified and selected by the Whisky Mastery Team. Around eighty percent of the flavour comes from the sherry-seasoned European oak, seasoned with the finest sherry wines from Jerez de la Frontera.

The distillery-exclusive Easter Elchies sleeve, named for the Highland manor house at the heart of the estate, is only available to visitors, which makes it a collector's variant on an already limited release.
