Everything has beauty. But not everyone can see it. The Glenrothes 51 Year Old is the orchid of the collection: a rare and fragrant wonder that has bloomed in its own perfect timing. Crafted from just two casks and limited to only 100 bottles, it is a whisky of extreme elegance. One cask is incredibly aromatic, with deeply perfumed notes that evoke the fragility of an orchid's scent. The other is bolder, with a luxurious richness and depth.
Retrieving the whisky is an act of unique creation. The bottle is held within a column that its keeper breaks to reach the whisky, and each column breaks in its own individual way. The pieces can then be returned to The Glenrothes, where an artist from their roster of kintsugi workshops will reassemble them as a one-of-a-kind vase in which a real orchid can grow.

- Palate: Fruit, fragrance and luxurious sweetness. Ripe melon, rose water, Earl Grey tea and a hint of antique oak. Creamy sweetness lingers with a nutty coating and ripe, freshly peeled almonds
