This is the third and final installment in their experimental series, which underwent an arctic adventure! Twelve American oak casks were charred and then exposed to sub-zero temperatures for 96 hours on a voyage into the Canadian ice fields. This caused the wood to fracture, increasing the surface area for the whisky to interact with during the finishing period in Scotland.
