Appearance

Deep burnished copper with rich mahogany flashes. Thick, slow legs hint at high strength and an oily texture.

Tasting notes (neat)

Nose/ Toffee, caramel and clotted cream fudge, followed by rounded orchard fruit compote.

Palate: Treacle and burnt caramelised demerara sugar with dried figs, developing into dark chocolate, espresso and roasted nuts.

Finish: Long, warming and slightly drying — oak spice, bitter chocolate and dark fruit, with cereal accents.

Nose: Brighter fruit notes — red cherry, cranberry and orange zest — with honeyed sweetness, softer spice and a more integrated oak profile.

Palate: More rounded and approachable: red fruits and caramel forward, with the chocolate and coffee notes softened and the spice less assertive.

Finish: Medium to long, softened tannins, gentle cinnamon and nutmeg into sweet dried fruit and a clean fading cocoa note.
