A 9 year old single cask from an undisclosed Islay distillery, bottled at cask strength after 18 months in a first-fill oloroso sherry quarter cask. The result is everything Islay does best: coastal, medicinal, and uncompromising, with the sherry wood adding just enough richness to make it something genuinely special.
Only 186 bottles were filled from cask 11140. The distillery remains anonymous — but the whisky speaks loudly enough on its own.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Briny and medicinal from the off — lemon zest, maritime smoke, olive, sea salt, and a backbone of clean malt. Classic Islay character, honest and unfiltered.
Palate: Creamy toffee and berries open things up before the island reasserts itself — smoke, iodine, citrus, and nuts, all sitting on a bed of mineral peat. The sherry cask softens without taming.
Finish: Long and coastal. Driftwood, smoked lemon, and salt linger well after the glass is set down.
