About the Loch Lomond Group

The Loch Lomond Group is home to two of Scotland's most compelling whisky stories:

Loch Lomond Distillery (Alexandria, Scottish Highlands) is one of the most technically fascinating distilleries in Scotland — producing eleven distinct whisky styles from a single site, using both traditional pot stills and innovative straight-neck stills to create a remarkably diverse range. From the soft, accessible Loch Lomond Original to the heavily peated Croftengea and the fruit-forward Inchmurrin, no other distillery in Scotland offers such variety from one address. The group also produces the celebrated Waypoint Series of aged single malts, which has attracted significant critical attention.

Glen Scotia Distillery (Campbeltown, Kintyre) is one of only three remaining active distilleries in Campbeltown — once known as the whisky capital of the world. Glen Scotia produces the oily, briny, distinctively maritime single malts that define the Campbeltown style, with a range spanning their classic Double Cask to heavily sherried and cask strength expressions. Its 200-year-old history includes more than its share of drama — and the whisky is every bit as characterful as the story.

The group's portfolio also includes stocks from Littlemill — the oldest licensed distillery in Scotland, now demolished — making them custodians of some genuinely irreplaceable liquid heritage.
