This is a standout collaboration between Louise McGuane of J.J. Corry and indie bottler The Heart Cut and notably, its the first Irish whiskey to join The Heart Cut collection. Built from Louises famed warehouse of flavours, this release brings together a carefully selected mix of Irish pot still, grain, and single malt whiskeys, with a strong sherry-cask thread running through the final profile.
Two components were aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, while two more were finished in Oloroso and Pajarete casks, creating a layered, dessert-leaning style that still keeps structure and balance. Its a genuinely limited bottling too, with 519 bottles released ideal for Irish whiskey fans who love sherried depth and a bit of one-off scarcity.
