The only triple-distilled Campbeltown single malt — and the most delicate, creamy expression to emerge from Springbank Distillery's three labels. Named after one of Campbeltown's many lost distilleries, Hazelburn is first produced in 1997. The 10 Year Old is matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks, unpeated, and triple distilled — delivering a fragrant, fruit-forward, approachable character that provides a beautiful contrast to the peated expressions from the same distillery. Non-chill filtered, natural colour, 46% ABV.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Sweet and tropical — baked pineapple, lemon sherbet, honeycomb, dried orange peel, toffee apples, fresh honey and fragrant pears with hints of vanilla
  • Palate: Sweet and savoury — green apples, a slight vegetal quality, pastel de nata, custard creams, vanilla and Crunchie bars. Good mouthfeel with bright lively fruit
  • Finish: Subtle earthiness with salted caramel, ginger, toasted coconut and a mineral note. Medium length, slightly nutty, with a touch of brine
