Chapter #13 is a unique single cask whisky, accompanied by an extraordinary story.
It is a barrel, filled on the last day of the previous millennium. December 31, 1999 at the Glenfarclas distillery. As you might expect, in most, if not in all distilleries, between Christmas and New Year, the staff are on vacation. So there is a good chance that this is the last barrel, completely filled in Scotland in 1999.
In addition, in the absence of staff, the barrel was personally filled by John Grant.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Impressive depth on the nose.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
