Cadenhead Creations 20 year old Rich Fruity Sherry Batch No.1 is a two part of a collection of Blended Malts and Grains. All specially selected to fit into this flavour profile.

This blended is made up of whiskies from Bruichladdich, Mortlach, Cameronbridge and Invergordon and was vatted together before being bottled in 2013.

 Batch No.1 Tasting Notes :-

Nose : Rich Malty notes to the fore. As you go deeper, aromas of liquorice and marzipan begin to develop, rounded off with a hint of toasted marshmallows and demerara sugar.

Palate : An incredibly complex dram kicks off with pleasant spices and oak notes. Mandarin oranges and other fruits combine with some nutmeg as the very oily palate progresses. Like a home made Clootie dumpling.

Finish : Quite nutty as the marzipan from the nose reappears before a more-ish sweetness hangs around for quite some time.

Cadenhead Creations 36 year old Rich Fruity Sherry Batch No.2 is a two part of a collection of Blended Malts and Grains. All specially selected to fit into this flavour profile.

This blended is made up of whiskies distilled in 1980 from Highland Park, Macallan, Tamdhu and Invergordon and was vatted together before being bottled in 2016 from just 2 Sherry Butts.

 Batch No.2 Tasting Notes :-

Nose : Strawberries; rich fruits; gooseberries; full fat cream; raisins; honey and cocktail cherries and obvious sherry notes.

Palate : Vanilla with a hint of toffee; raspberries; strawberry jam; soft spice and marzipan.

Finish : The soft spices continue with vanilla, cream and hazelnuts.
