The men who tended the fires at Octomore would have grown the barley on their land. Cut the peat from their banks. Distilling a heavily peated spirit and sold very young.

These whiskies are an experiment into what would happen if heavily peated malted barley was run through the tall narrowed neck stills of Bruichladdich.
