Brora 1982 34 Year Old (Special Releases 2017) is a landmark bottling from one of Scotland’s most celebrated closed distilleries. The 2017 edition is the sixteenth release in the Special Releases series for Brora, showcasing the distillery’s famously coastal character in an exceptionally mature, collectible Highland single malt.
Distilled in 1982—when Brora was using far less peat than it had during the previous decade—this whisky spent more than 34 years maturing in refill American oak hogsheads. The result is a rare, long-aged snapshot of Brora’s later style, and a must-consider bottle for collectors of closed distilleries and Diageo Special Releases.
Only 3,000 bottles were produced.
