The fourth chapter in Bowmore's collaboration with acclaimed graphic artist Frank Quitely, a series that recreates the myths of Islay through striking illustration. The Dragon's Prey tells the legend of Godrid Croven, a noble warrior who fought the fierce dragon bringing a reign of terror to Islay, and how the island was spared. This 34 Year Old is the senior of the two whiskies created for the release, limited to 700 sets worldwide and supplied with its prints.
Matured in five distinct yet complementary cask types, from Barbados rum and white port finished American oak to three different Oloroso sherry finishes in butts, hogsheads and puncheons, it is a masterclass in flavour creation. Rich layers convey a bold, vibrant heartbeat with fruity, seductively bold undertones.

Frank Quitely is the Glasgow-born comic artist behind celebrated work for DC and Marvel, including All Star Superman, Batman and Robin and New X-Men. His Bowmore series began with No Corners to Hide in 2021 and continued with The Changeling and Lovers Transformed before The Dragon's Prey.
