Ardnamurchan Spirit 2016/AD First Release

This very rare first release Ardnamurchan Spirit 2016 AD is aged for just one year (not yet whisky). It is from one of the newest Whisky Distilleries in Scotland.

Whilst matured in ex-sherry cask and bottled at cask strength, the production of only 2500 bottles was massively over subscribed.

Ardnamurchan Spirit 2016 AD is a marriage of casks, that had been maturing at the distillery since production started. Followed by three months maturing  in a mixture of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry butts.

Matured in 1st Fill ex-sherry Earthy Mango and waxy orange peel, with post-Manhattan glace cherries, Hobnobs, black pepper and distant Clyde Puffer smoke.
