With world gin day just passed on 8th June this year, we thought why not highlight one of amazing and award winning local gin distillers from our local area of York. Our highlighted distillery is York Gin, Based in centre of York, was founded from a local pub landlord and group of friends, The Swan, pub in city centre of York was where this award winning gin distillery was concevied.  

In 2018, York Gin was founded, the idea was using York's rich and storied history and Gin crafting. The motto of York Gin is " History in Tasting", They have a shop of thier own in a 16th century styled tudor building within the York walls, which is symbolised on every label of York Gin.  

The guideline principles the distiller follows are Excellence, Honesty and Kindness. They  are also are 100% green powered  and do very best to source everything in production locally and reduce their carbon footprint at every step.
