Filey Bay Orange Wine Barrique - Special Release £84.99
This limited-edition release underwent a unique dual maturation process. Initially aged for 3 years and 3 months in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky was then transferred into four rare orange wine barriques from Spain's Condado de Huelva region for an additional 3 years and 10 months. These casks had previously held Vino Naranja, a fortified wine aromatized with orange peel. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 46.2% ABV, the whisky offers vibrant notes of orange cake, sweet marmalade, honeycomb, ripe citrus, and stone fruits.

‘A Highland Park from the late 80’s. Great distillate filled into a great cask and left to combine for over 33 years. The result is a masterpiece. Very rarely do we get as excited as we are to release this whisky and we are immensely proud to bring this single-cask expression to market’.
