Cask #8800 was drawn from a sherry oak barrel and bottled by Number One Drinks Company — custodians of much of the Karuizawa archive. With the distillery demolished and stocks strictly finite, bottles from this vintage represent one of the most significant collections in Japanese whisky history.

Key Features

Distillery: Karuizawa (closed 2000 — demolished)

Vintage: 1981 | Bottled: 2012 (31 years)

Cask: Sherry Oak Barrel #8800

Bottler: Number One Drinks / Vintage

ABV: 64.8% | Volume: 70cl

Available as a pair (2 bottles)

Delivery & Authenticity

Every bottle sold by Whiskys.co.uk is 100% authentic.
