This Limited Edition Glenkinchie 1996 Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Double Matured in Amontillado Casks and bottled in 2012.
Intriguing nutty notes come from the wood itself and firmer, drier ones from malted barley and from echoes of the crisp grape once contained.
Enormously malty on the palate, with a lingering, dry finish.
