For twenty years, he built it into what it is — Yorkshire's oldest whisky merchant, the UK's biggest supplier of Blackadder, and a shop with a reputation for rare, honest, carefully chosen whisky. It fills the mouth at 54.7%, but it's generous rather than aggressive.
