This expression of Laphroaig has enjoyed a second maturation in small Quarter casks. These most traditional barrels recreate a practise of a bygone era, to create the perfect marriage of peat and oak. The quarter cask is barrier filtered only and bottled at the higher 48% strength.

Nose.Phenolic-seaweedy-very peaty with a hint of sweetness
